Setting up a custom domain (Pro)

Pro plan users can replace postlink.to/username with their own custom domain, like links.yourbrand.com.

Why use a custom domain: - Professional branding — your domain, your brand - Builds trust with followers who see a familiar URL - Better for sponsorship pitches and media kits

How to set it up: 1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Custom Domain 2. Enter your desired domain (e.g., links.yourbrand.com) 3. Add the DNS records shown to your domain provider: - A CNAME record pointing your subdomain to postlink.to 4. Click "Verify Domain" 5. PostLink will check the DNS records and activate your custom domain 6. SSL is provisioned automatically — your domain will work with HTTPS

DNS propagation: After adding DNS records, it can take up to 48 hours for changes to propagate. Most changes take effect within 1-2 hours.

After setup: - Update your Instagram and TikTok bio to use your new custom domain - Both your custom domain and postlink.to/username will work - All analytics and routing work the same way

Requirements: - Pro or Team plan - A domain you own with access to DNS settings - The domain must not already be pointed elsewhere
