How automatic post syncing works
PostLink keeps your posts up to date automatically.
After connecting your Instagram account, PostLink automatically syncs your posts so you always have the latest content ready to link.
How syncing works: - When you first connect, PostLink imports your recent posts - New posts are detected and synced periodically - You can also trigger a manual sync from Dashboard → Posts → Sync Now
What gets synced: - Post image or video thumbnail - Caption text - Post type (image, video, carousel) - Posting date - Instagram permalink
What doesn't get synced: - Stories (ephemeral content) - DMs or private content - Comments or engagement metrics - Archived or deleted posts
Sync frequency: Posts are checked for updates regularly. For the most up-to-date sync, use the manual "Sync Now" button after publishing a new post.
Troubleshooting sync issues: - Make sure your Instagram account is still connected (Dashboard → Settings) - If posts aren't appearing, try disconnecting and reconnecting Instagram - Only public posts are synced — private accounts may have limited sync - See "My posts aren't syncing" for detailed troubleshooting
