How to connect your Instagram account

Connecting your Instagram account lets PostLink sync your posts so you can link each one to a specific article.

How to connect: 1. Go to Dashboard → Settings 2. Click "Connect Instagram" 3. You'll be redirected to Instagram to authorize PostLink 4. Grant the requested permissions (PostLink needs access to your public posts and profile info) 5. You'll be redirected back to PostLink — your account is now connected

What PostLink accesses: - Your public profile information (username, avatar) - Your published posts (images, captions, timestamps) - PostLink does NOT access your DMs, stories, or private information - PostLink does NOT post on your behalf

After connecting: Your recent posts will sync automatically. Go to Dashboard → Posts to see them and start linking articles.

Troubleshooting: - Make sure you're logging into the correct Instagram account - If authorization fails, try disconnecting and reconnecting - Instagram Business or Creator accounts work best - See "Fixing Instagram connection problems" for more help
