Fixing Instagram connection problems

If you're having trouble connecting your Instagram account to PostLink, try these solutions.
"Authorization failed" error: - Make sure you're logging into the correct Instagram account - Clear your browser cookies and try again - Try using a different browser - Make sure your Instagram account is not restricted or disabled
"Permissions denied" error: - PostLink requires access to your public profile and posts - If you denied permissions, disconnect and try again - Go to Instagram → Settings → Apps and Websites → Remove PostLink, then reconnect
Connection drops after a while: - Instagram access tokens expire periodically - Go to Dashboard → Settings and click "Reconnect Instagram" - This refreshes your access token without losing your linked articles
"Account type not supported": - PostLink works best with Instagram Business or Creator accounts - Personal accounts have limited API access - Switch to a Creator account in Instagram → Settings → Account → Switch to Professional Account
Still not working: - Check if Instagram's API is experiencing an outage - Make sure your Instagram app is updated to the latest version - Try connecting from a desktop browser instead of mobile - Contact us if the issue persists
